Phone Book Deliveries
Phone book deliveries are upon us once more. This time the deliveries are for the small Northern Suburbs yellow pages.
We are targeting Sunday 18th April as the main delivery day and are hoping to get all of the books delivered on this day. If we don't we will have to finish off the deliveries the following weekend.
It is important that we get a good turn-out to deliver the phone books... as the old saying goes... many hands make light work. But more importantly than that, we can't continually rely on a small few to raise funds for the entire club. Ideally we are looking for upto 10 teams of 4-6 people per team, so that is 60 people that need to put their hand up. So...
Please respond to this topic with your name, availability (even if it is only half a day) and any vehicle/trailer that you may have available for use (if you don't have anything just leave this out).
Note: These smaller books are very light and quite easy to deliver. If you have any children under the age of 15 wishing to help out, we request that you form a 'family' team and do the books together (or combine with another family). Due to duty-of-care issues we will be unable to supervise children without their parent(s).
At the start of next week I will update this post with meeting times, locations and more information.
Thanks in advance.

With a disappointing turnout on the weekend for the phonebook deliveries, we only got through about half of the books. That means we will be doing the other half this weekend.
If you didn't turn up last weekend, you will be expected to be there this weekend.
Take note.
Hi All,
Just a reminder that phone book deliveries are happening THIS sunday.
Can everyone please meet at the clubrooms (McDonald Reserve, Padbury) from 8am Sunday morning. If you are unable to get there by 8am please get down when you can and let me know when you get there.
If you have a station wagon, 4WD, van, ute, trailer or similar can you please bring it with you. Unless you want to do it before-hand, we will sort out teams when everyone gets there Sunday morning.
I will arrange to have all of the phonebooks picked up from the depot and delivered to McDonald Reserve.
