Whitford Hockey Club History

Whitford Hockey Club originally began as two separate clubs – one for the men which was formed in 1978, and one for the women which formed in the late 1970’s.

Amalgamation was approved by a vote at the 1984 Annual General Meeting and the Clubs became one. This was followed by incorporation and adoption of the current Constitution and By-Laws in 1989.

The Club moved into its current clubroom facilities in 1994. These facilities are at McDonald Reserve in Padbury Western Australia.
